Africa-Press – Angola. Culture and the most varied segments of the arts have been highlighted in the programming of Kirima Gardem, a space for the dissemination of artistic creations, located in the Urban District of Sequele, municipality of Cacuaco.

The space that is assumed to be eclectic and open to the promotion of national and foreign culture and arts, is a private investment created in urbanization, specifically in the sector of evolutionary houses, called Vila das Ideias, for concerts, film screenings, theater shows, exhibitions, presentation and sale of works, debates, in a single room with capacity for 50 people.

Kirima Garden presents a cultural agenda with a wide range of activities whose concept is based on a daily schedule, from Wednesday to Sunday.

The space regularly hosts, on Sundays, intimate concerts of varied music, live, with new talents and a resident band, made up of bar artists composed of Hélder (vocals and guitar), Danilo Luiwndula (keyboards), Félix Batera (drums) , Ried Bass (bass), Moisés (rhythm and solo), William Sax (saxophone) and Sasha (vocals). The band has made its way through alternative music concerts, where genres such as soul, jazz, Afrobeat, Rock, R&B, Funk and electronic music emerge.

The screening of recent films, through the streaming platforms Netflix and Amazon, is a reality on Wednesday’s agenda, and on Thursdays the space promotes relaxed karaoke nights.

Fridays and Saturdays are dedicated to the hip hop movement. On these days, in which the schedule is alternated fortnightly, DJs with more than 15 years of career are invited to remember the best that was produced in the 80’s and 90’s in the rap style.

According to the owner and manager of Kirima Gardem, in the near future the presence of renowned musicians will be a reality, in addition to the presentation, sale of books and records and autograph sessions, and the exhibition of plastic arts, with the presence of the authors, in a open space for debates, and the presentation of monologues.

Solange Neto said that the space is open to new proposals that satisfy the art-loving public. “We don’t have a target audience. We are a space with an eclectic vision, which wants to offer art to its fans, in its most varied segments”, she explained.
