Africa-Press – Angola. TAAG Linhas Aéreas de Angola announced this Thursday that it will increase flight frequencies to the domestic routes with the highest demand, starting today.
According to a statement from TAAG, connections from Luanda to Cabinda, Catumbela, Lubango, Saurimo, Dundo, Namibe and Ondjiva will be improved.
“This campaign aims to respond to the market demand from passengers and customers, which tends to be high at this stage of the year”, says the note.
The frequencies added to the global flight schedule for November will be operated by a DASH-8 model aircraft capable of carrying 74 passengers, 64 in economy class and 10 in business class.
This measure will favor the movement of people and cargo between Luanda and the other provinces in a period of the year when the December festivities are approaching and there is a greater volume of purchases and interprovincial transit.
The company informs that in November, for the Luanda – Cabinda routes, five daily flights will be available on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday; Luanda-Catumbela (Benguela), two daily flights on Monday, Friday and Sunday; Luanda-Lubango (Huíla), two daily flights on Friday; Luanda-Saurimo (Lunda-Sul), a daily flight on Tuesday; Luanda-Dundo (Lunda-Norte), a daily flight on Saturday; Luanda-Namibe (Namibe), a daily flight on Thursday; and Luanda-Ondjiva (Cunene), a daily flight on Monday.
