Africa-Press – Angola. A total of 105 young people of both sexes are being trained in aesthetics and beauty, barbershop, hairdressing and computing.

The training action will last three months and is promoted by the Social Support Fund (FAS), in partnership with the Support Center for the Promotion and Development of Communities (CAPDC).

The provincial director of the Social Support Fund, Simão Baiata, highlighted, on Thursday, the importance of training in the context of support for social inclusion, which aims to train, by the end of the training cycle, more than two thousand young people, of the municipality of Moxico.

According to the official, five institutions of civil society organizations have been selected, which are working in partnership with FAS, having underlined that the courses are identified within the framework of the needs of the communities.

Each selected organization, he underlined, will receive seven million kwanzas, for the expenses with the materials and payment of the trainers.

He added that, at the end of each course, the finalists will benefit from work kits, aimed at creating small service provision companies.

The Social Support Fund, he said, in addition to training programs in the municipality of Moxico, is financing productive inclusion projects in the municipality of Luau, in the areas of agriculture, fish farming and honey production.

The coordinator of the Support Center for the Promotion and Development of Communities, Domingos Caiiee, said that the objective of the training is to make young people aware of small businesses.

“We will bring these people together in small groups, to evolve into cooperatives made up of five people, who will benefit from work kits, in order to have income capable of providing sustainability to families”.

Domingos Caiiee explained that the first phase of training benefited 28 motorcycle taxi drivers, who are waiting for the reception of motorcycles, after having received entries in the Directorate of Traffic and Traffic.
