Africa-Press – Angola. The deputy governor of Benguela for Technical Services and Infrastructure, Adilson Gonçalves, defended, this Wednesday, in Lobito, Benguela, the need for a better structured matrix in the field of Transport to allow production to be sold inside and outside the country.

Speaking on the occasion of the National Transport Day, which is being celebrated today, he added that “transport infrastructure is essential for the development and competitiveness of any economy”.

“Obviously, investments in infrastructure of this nature require large amounts of capital, whose “feed back” is long and of low interactivity for the private sector. Therefore, the State emerges, then, as an important inducer of investments in transport infrastructure, thus promoting its development”, he stressed.
