Africa-Press – Angola. The Mwana-Pwo association in partnership with the European Union and the Netherlands is holding a conference until 10 December on the “16 days of Activism against Gender Violence”, in Saurimo, Lunda-Sul.
According to the director of the Mwana-Pwo association, Juliana António, the event aims to raise the population’s attention, to learn how to denounce cases of gender violence registered daily in communities, reads on the Facebook page of the Provincial Government from Lunda-Sul.
The official reiterates that the fight against violence against women continues to be one of the main priorities of the Mwana-Pwo Association, as this phenomenon affects millions of people around the world and across the country.
