Africa-Press – Angola. The coach of 1° de Agosto, Filipe Nzanza, pointed out, in Luanda, a defensive failure as the cause of the tie (1-1), against Académica do Lobito, in the game of the 12th round of the First National Football Championship division (Girabola2022/2023).
Speaking to the press, at the end of the match played at the 22 de Junho stadium, the coach recognized the difficulties created by the opponent, who managed to fulfill the objective of not losing.
He added that, despite this, 1° de Agosto will continue to work, for the next challenges, trying to add points and achieve its objective.
In turn, the coach of Académica do Lobito, Agostinho Tramagal, stressed that they came consciously so as not to lose points, in a match that they saw as difficult, judging by the capacity of the opponent, in their stronghold.
“My players managed to stop the 1° de Agosto team, who thought they could dominate the game”, he said.
With this result, 1° de Agosto have 23 points, in fourth place in the competition, while Académica do Lobito is in seventh, with 16. Petro de Luanda is the leader, with 31.
