Africa-Press – Angola. The tourist, industrial and agricultural potential of Huíla province exposed at the first edition of Expo Feito em Angola, in Luanda, from 07 to 11 of the current month, attracted 35 foreign investors, from Argentinians, Chinese, South Africans, Koreans and Indians.
The information was released yesterday, Monday, in Lubango by the provincial director of the National Institute of Support to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (INAPEM) in Huíla, Julieta de Oliveira, noting that some of those interested already have dates set to visit the province. in 2023.
The official said that 70 national investors also showed interest in betting on Huíla, and some, with their companies, intend to participate in the Potato and Christmas Fair, which takes place from the 14th to the 18th of the current month, in city of Lubango.
He referred that the province participated in the Expo Feito em Angola with 19 companies, from micro, small, medium and large, from different branches of activity, in an institutional stand.
“The balance is positive. The objective was to attract national and foreign investors to the province, since our motto is “Invest Huíla” and we attract investors in the sectors of industry, agriculture and tourism. The participating companies are examples in the Huila market”, he declared.
The first edition of Expo Feito em Angola took place in the Special Economic Zone -Luanda/Bengo, served to present the potential of national production ranging from agribusiness, catering, construction, industry, energy, oil and gas.
The activity was promoted by the Ministry of Economy and Planning and will be held annually, in order to serve as a business space to boost national production and reduce the unemployment rate in Angola.
