Africa-Press – Angola. The Ombudsman’s Office will open a branch in the city of Mbanza Kongo, province of Zaire, in the first half of 2023, as part of the expansion of this body’s services throughout the national territory.

The announcement was made by the deputy ombudsman, Aguinaldo Guedes Cristóvão, who this Thursday begins a three-day working visit to the province of Zaire.

On Saturday, the last day of the visit to Zaire, the assistant ombudsman will visit the Nkiende prison, which is 30 kilometers from the city of Mbanza Kongo.
