Africa-Press – Angola. At least businessmen from the municipality of Icolo e Bengo, Luanda province, yesterday expressed interest in cooperating with the local administration, aiming at the sustainable development of the region.

This desire was manifested in a large meeting promoted by the municipal administration of Icolo e Bengo, and chaired by the new administrator, Nelson Lopes Funete.

Although willing to cooperate, businessmen request less bureaucracy in dealing with land legalization processes, namely concession title and surface rights which, according to them, allow leveraging socio-economic projects.

According to the president of the chamber of commerce and industry of Icolo and Bengo, Alberto Campingala, the excess of bureaucracy hinders the development of companies, cooperatives, associations and has encouraged their exodus to other regions of the country, harming the municipality.

The issue of land conflict was also addressed by the businessmen and, regarding which, the municipal administrator promised, to the more than 100 participating businessmen, that he will solve all of them.

On the other hand, the administrator asked the business community for job vacancies for local youth, within the scope of employability and social responsibility that each company has.
