Africa-Press – Angola. Car insurance is one of the services most requested by most customers registered with Empresa Nacional de Seguros (ENSA), in Moxico province, according to the claims technician at the Luena agency.
José Anselmo Cute told , despite the existence of many public and private companies, the portfolio of around 800 clients controlled at provincial level since 2009 is mostly made up of individuals.
As he explained, ENSA in Moxico, in addition to car insurance, offers occupational accident insurance, multi-risk housing, health, fire and pension fund insurance.
Due to the financial crisis, he pointed out, many clients failed to honor their commitment to the insurer.
“We have been working on raising awareness among the populations, in the various forums organized by institutions, when we always take the opportunity to inform about the importance of insurance in institutions and private individuals”, he says.
ENSA, in partnership with the Labor Inspectorate, has carried out awareness-raising work aimed at traders and others.
