Africa-Press – Angola. The Council of Ministers approved, this Wednesday, the Management Measures for Marine Fisheries, Continental Fisheries, Aquaculture and Salt for the year 2023, informs the Final Communiqué of the meeting.

The document adds that the aforementioned legal instrument aims to adjust the catch capacity to the available potential of aquatic biological resources, aquaculture and salt.

One of the goals, continues the statement, is to ensure the quality, diversity and availability of resources, as well as their conservation.

Also in the session, chaired by the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, the Council of Ministers also approved the Legal Regime of Private and Public-Private Institutions of Pre-School Education and Primary and Secondary Education.

The diploma establishes the rules on the creation, organization and operation of these non-university teaching institutions, as well as clarifies the degree of State intervention.

The said Legal Regime also clarifies their level of autonomy, in accordance with the limits imposed by the rules of the Democratic State of Law.

Regulation for use of license

In this Wednesday’s session, the Council of Ministers approved a Regulation that establishes the norms and use of the Operating Permit for procedures for catering establishments and similar establishments.

The diploma is applicable to restaurants, catering companies, snack bars, bars, pastry shops, pizzerias, cafes, tea houses, dance halls and ice cream parlors.

Within the scope of this diploma, the Executive implements one of the measures of the Simplifica 2.0 Project, reducing bureaucracy in the procedure for granting licenses for this type of operation.

The aforementioned Regulation extends the period of validity of the authorization for the exercise of catering and similar activities, promotes the integration of services involved in the licensing of the activity.

The document encourages entrepreneurship and private initiative in the catering and similar sectors.

Within the framework of foreign policy, the Council of Ministers approved various cooperation instruments, including: General Agreement on Economic, Technical, Social and Scientific Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Angola and the Government of the Republic of Senegal;

Agreement on the Creation of a Bilateral Commission between the Government of the Republic of Angola and the Government of the Republic of Senegal;

Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Angola and the Government of the Republic of Senegal, in the field of Trade;

Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Angola and the Government of the Republic of Senegal, in the field of Tourism;

Visa Exemption Agreement in Diplomatic, Official and Service passports between the Government of the Republic of Angola and the Government of the Republic of Senegal;

Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Angola and the Government of the Republic of Senegal, in the field of Hydrocarbons and Marketing of Petroleum Products;

Memorandum of Understanding on the Establishment of Political Consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Angola and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Senegal.
