Africa-Press – Angola. Twenty-one athletes (adapted athletics) were Monday, in Luanda, summoned for qualifying events in Angola, for the Paralympic Games in Paris (France), in 2024.
According to a note from the Angolan Paralympic Committee (CPA), the country’s representatives will participate in the Meeting in Tunis (Tunisia), from 2 to 9 February, and in Morocco, from 5 to 12 March.
The National Team will gather, at 10:00 am, on January 5, 2023, at the headquarters of the CPA, at Cidadela Desportiva, in the country’s capital.
Here are the summons:
Emiloide Adelino (From Namibe Province), Juliana Moko (Benguela), Regina Dumbo (Huambo) and Beatriz Cativa (Cuanza Norte), who are in the T11 total blindness class, in females
Also Adelino Soma (Huambo) and Jeremias Soma (Huambo), from class T11 total blindness, in males.
In class T12 athletes with low vision or partial blindness, are represented by Soraia Cacau (Luanda), in females. Among the men, there are Olíveira André (Malanje), Paulão Adelino (Namibe) and Marcelino Návio (Malanje).
In T13 athletes with some visual difficulty, is the athlete from the province of Moxico, Jorge Pacheco.
In T46 and T47, athletes with upper limb amputations are Manuel Jaime (Cuanza Norte), Sabino Chipesse (Bié) and Chaves Gomes (Bengo).
As for the guides, they are composed by José Haypapa (Namibe), Abel Santos (Cuanza Sul), Adão Soares (Malanje), Dorivaldo Mateus (Cuanza Norte), Emilio de Oliveira (Huambo), Abraão Sapalo (Benguela) and Pierrot Ngoyo (Huambo ).
The technical team is made up of José Manuel (Head Coach), Domingos Sapalo (Assistant Coach), Constância Tomas (Physiotherapist), Pedro Albuquerque (Doctor) and Jaime Chilala (Head of Delegation).
