Africa-Press – Angola. The Management of Porto Amboim Estaleiros Navais (PAENAL) denied, Saturday, in Cuanza Sul, the existence of alleged job applications published by the entity “Ango Employment”.
PAENAL, linked to the oil sector, expresses its rejection of false information circulated by the entity “Ango Empregos”, which used the institution’s logo and image without authorization.
” As information for users of the aforementioned social networks, friends and partners, and with the aim of avoiding the appearance of other false news, we clarify here that any disclosure of vacancies or job opportunities will always be communicated formally and primarily by the legal channels recognized by the company”, reads the note.
However, continues the same note, in addition to being extremely disrespectful towards users of social networks, PAENAL considers that the entity “Ango Empregos” has given false motivations and hopes, with the disclosure of this type of information that can configure a crime, a situation will have the appropriate legal procedures for its resolution.
In a round carried out, it was found that young people are rushing to get documentation ready, such as a copy of the Identity Card, certificate of qualifications, certificates of professional courses, as well as access to the page to apply.
Fátima José, one of the alleged competitors, said that she became aware of the recruitment through a share on the social networks of the Ango Jobs website.
“Youth are always attentive when it comes to jobs, and we are a group of friends that we access and have the documentation prepared for possible applications and if it is false, then we have no way, we will stop”, concluded José de Almeida.
For the General Director of PAENAL, Luís Barroso, “this is false information published by Ango Empregos, only to generate traffic on its page”.
PAENAL was inaugurated in 2008, with the aim of developing a shipyard focused on local content and increasing the capacity of the manufacturing industry in Angola.
The Company was initially formed as a joint venture between Sonangol with 40 percent and SBM with 30 percent.
At the end of 2010, the South Korean company DSME joined with 30 percent of the joint venture.
PAENAL is a modern complex dedicated to the manufacture and construction of complex facilities and provision of services for the oil and gas industry, whose shipyard occupies an area of 27 hectares.
