Africa-Press – Angola. The coach of 1.o de Agosto highlighted the performance in the second half, following which her team scored three more goals, in the 5-2 defeat against Petro de Luanda.
In a match for the 7th round of the Senior Women’s Provincial Football Championship, played at the Daniel Ndunguidi stadium, in Luanda, Lurdes Lutonda said that in the first half her team failed to materialize the various opportunities created in goals.
And statements to the press, the former national coach recognized, however, that the opponent created numerous difficulties, especially in the opening minutes, but the experience of its players was decisive for the conquest of the three points.
In turn, Petro de Luanda’s coach, Marilda Miguel, said that her team produced enough games and put the opponent in distressing situations, despite the defeat.
With this result, Petro de Luanda has 10 points, in second place, while 1.o de Agosto is leader, with 19 pts.
