On the occasion, Governor José Martins announced that the works on the Memorial of the Battle of Cuito Cuanavale will continue in this financial year, as they are included in the 2023 General State Budget.
The missing works include the hotel network, to support all tourists who come to climb Cuito Cuanavale.
The women, coming from Luanda and Menongue, as well as from the host municipality, also greeted the king of Cuito Cuanavale, Bingo Bingo. and visited the Tumpu Triangle, among other areas.
The Battle of Cuíto Cuanavale was the biggest military confrontation of the war in Angola, which took place between November 15, 1987 and March 23, 1988, between the armies of Angola and Cuba against the military forces of UNITA and the apartheid regime of South Africa. South.
