Africa-Press – Angola. The first National Secretary of the JMPLA, the MPLA’s youth arm, Crispiniano dos Santos, this Tuesday in Ndalatando called on young people from Cuanza Norte to become true promoters of peace and development agents in the province.
Crispiniano dos Santos made such an appeal at the opening of the conference on the “State of socio-economic development of the province of Cuanza Norte, inserted in the organization’s program called “JMPLA meeting the Angolan youth”.
He exhorted the youth to be an ally of development, above all, in the policies that have been implemented at the provincial level, and in the country in general, and which are significantly changing the lives of Angolan families.
He also requested the support of the youth to the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, in the materialization of these policies.
During the conference, which was attended by the governor of Cuanza Norte, Pedro Makita Júlia and members of the local government, young people learned about the structural projects that are being implemented in the region in the areas of water, energy, education and health.
Crispiniano dos Santos is carrying out, a 72-hour visit to Cuanza Norte, as part of the patriotic day of the organization’s national secretariat.
The program reserves trips to the municipalities of Lucala, Samba Caju, Banga, Quiculungo and Bolongongo.
In the latter, the youth leader will launch, on Wednesday, the JMPLA national growth campaign, called “Each militant plus three young people”.
He will also lead a conference on “The importance of the battle of Cuito Canavale for the liberation of Africa”, aimed at young people in the district.
Crispiniano dos Santos’ visit to the province began in the municipality of Cazengo, where, in the company of the provincial governor, Pedro Makita Júlia, he delivered professional kits to 30 young people and motorcycles to the first municipal secretaries of Cambambe, Cazengo, Golungo Alto and Ngonguembo of the JMPLA.
Young people benefited from bricklaying, plumbing, hairdressing and parabolic antenna installation kits.
He visited the basic structures of that organization and maintained contact with the militants and supporters of the organization of which he is leader, in the municipality of Cazengo.
