Africa-Press – Angola. Angola makes its debut at the African Skating Championship, to be held in Lagos (Nigeria), from 2nd to 6th August, in different disciplines.
The country will be present in an unprecedented event of its kind with the disciplines of skating, In Line Speed races (road competition), Slalom Classico, Slalom Speed, in both sexes.
According to Tecas Manuel, coordinator of the first specialty championship in Luanda, to be held from April 16 to June 30, the best classified in each category will be part of the respective selections.
Speaking at a press conference, the official said that the road tests will be held on Deolinda Rodrigues and Marginal avenues and the others in the Cidadela pavilions.
“The time has come for us to officially compete and develop these skating disciplines”, he said.
