Africa-Press – Angola. The Angolan diplomat Augusto da Silva Cunha delivered, this Tuesday, the credentials to the President of Mongolia, Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, beginning his duties as ambassador of Angola in this State, as a non-resident.
According to a press release from the diplomatic representation, the ambassador presented to President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, during an audience of about 20 minutes, granted at the end of the accreditation ceremony, the current situation of Angola and the state of cooperation between the two countries.
Augusto da Silva Cunha, who is Angola’s ambassador to the Russian Federation and the Commonwealth of Independent States, highlighted the opportunities for business and public and private investment for the Mongolian community.
President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh addressed the need for rapprochement between the two countries, in areas of common interest and the urgency of cooperation mechanisms.
On the same day, the Angolan ambassador was received, in a courtesy audience, by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, Batmunkh Battsetseg.
