Africa-Press – Angola. Players Azenaide Carlos and Albertina Cassoma are once again called up to the National Senior Women’s Handball Team convened, this Wednesday, for the second date of the year of the International Handball Federation (IHF) from 3 to 14 April.
Contrary to the first IHF date, in March, where they had also been called up, but for administrative reasons they did not join the group, the experienced players, who evolve in Romanian handball, once again deserve the confidence of coach Vivaldo Eduardo.
The group’s concentration will take place in the next few days, in Luanda, for an exclusive work regime.
On the first date of the governing body of world handball, the national team was in Egypt, where it faced the local counterpart twice. He won both times by 23-23 and 34-25.
Remember, this year the National Team competes in the Pre-Olympic tournament, from October 10th to 12th, against similar teams from Congo, Cameroon and Senegal.
From the 17th to the 30th of December, Angola competes in the World Cup co-organized by Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
