Africa-Press – Angola. Fifteen billion, 514 million and 500 thousand kwanzas, is the budgeted amount for the construction of 1,500 houses in the second phase of the Centrality “Heróis de Cangamba”, in the city of Luena, Moxico province, I learned this Tuesday- fair.
The funds for this project, part of the Public Investment Program (PIP), under the responsibility of the Ministry of Public Works, Urban Planning and Housing, are included in the General State Budget (OGE) for the current financial year (2023).
After the conclusion of the 2nd phase, the housing project will have 1,925 houses, joining the other 425 apartments built in the first phase, against the 3,000 originally foreseen in the initial program.
In addition to the “Heróis de Cangamba” Centrality, the city of Luena also has the “450 houses” urbanization, built in the 4 de Fevereiro district, east of Luena.
