Africa-Press – Angola. Issues related to peace, security and stability in Africa were addressed Wednesday, in Luanda, by the Angolan Head of State, João Lourenço, and the former President of Niger, Mahamadou Issoufou.
João Lourenço received, in audience, at the Presidential Palace, in the upper city, Mahamadou Issoufou, who was Head of State of Niger between 2011 and 2021.

After the hearing, Mahamadou Issoufou, 71 years old, who is currently chairing the Panel for the Development of the Sahel Region, did not make any statements to the press.
The former Head of State has been in the Angolan capital since Tuesday for a private visit, at the invitation of President João Lourenço.
Located in West Africa, the Republic of Niger borders Algeria and Libya (North), Chad (East), Nigeria and Benin (South) and Burkina Faso and Mali (West). It has an area of 1 270 000 square kilometers.
