Africa-Press – Angola. Angola participates from the 26th to the 28th of this month, in Victoria Fall, Zimbabwe, in the 6th edition of the Transforming Africa Summit, with a delegation led by the Minister of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication, Mário Oliveira.
Under the theme “Connect-Innovate-Transform”, the Summit is an opportunity for the Smart Africa Alliance to diversify and expand actions aimed at strengthening and consolidating the countries’ commitment to Transforming Africa into a fully digitized continent .
The search for the transformation of Africa into a fully digitized continent is justified by the need for better and greater use of the benefits of technologies, whether in terms of the integration of countries, the search for solutions to the needs and challenges of populations, but also and above all for greater access to information and technologies.
Accompanying minister Mário Oliveira is the chairman of the Board of Directors of Angola Telecom, Adilson Santos.
