Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, left the Angolan capital (Luanda) this morning, bound for the province of Cuando Cubango, where he will attend military maneuvers by the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA).
At the military terminal, the Head of State, who will remain in the region for 48 hours, received farewell greetings from the Vice President of the Republic, Esperança da Costa.
Today, the 9th, President João Lourenço will witness the military exercise, as Commander-in-Chief of the FAA, taking place in the polygon prepared for this purpose, with the involvement of personnel and technical means from the three branches of the Armed Forces.
On Wednesday (the 10th), the President of the Republic and Commander-in-Chief of the FAA will lead a meeting on the general situation of the FAA in its multiple aspects.
The FAA is made up of three branches, namely: Army, Air Force and Navy.
Its structure dates back to October 9, 1991, when they were founded.
