Africa-Press – Angola. Six hundred 86 taxi and motorcycle taxi licenses were issued in Cazenga municipality, Luanda province, during the first week of the massive campaign taking place on 15 May.

The fact was advanced this Tuesday, by the local director of Transport, Traffic and Mobility, Agostinho Luís, when he was making a provisional assessment of the activity.

Of that number, 546 licenses belong to motorcycle taxi users and 140 to taxi users.

For the person in charge, the campaign is meeting expectations judging by the membership, but rules out the opening of more posts in other Urban Districts, as the one installed at the Cazenga Professional Training Center is responding to demand.

Some motorcycle taxi drivers and taxi drivers, such as Fernando Custódio and Chabinguila Somgue, praised the initiative and recognize that the work is quick and without constraints.
