Africa-Press – Angola. Angola and Brazil will reinforce bilateral cooperation relations, with attention turned to the sectors of agribusiness, agriculture, agribusiness, trade, fishing and creative industry.

The idea was defended, in Luanda, during the audience given by the Minister of Industry and Commerce, Victor Fernandes, to the Brazilian ambassador accredited to Angola, Rafael Vidal.

For Minister Victor Fernandes, Angola wants to fully exploit all the knowledge and experience that Brazil has, mainly in areas necessary for the diversification of the economy, but he also appealed to the advocacy of the Brazilian delegation to make more Brazilian businessmen look at Angola as a safe country for your investment.

The minister underlined that the main strategic objective of the Angolan Government, for the sustainable development of the national economy, essentially involves food self-sufficiency, through the reinforcement of the internal productive base, with agro-industry focused on agriculture.

Aligning the same path, ambassador Rafael Vidal referred that his country has several projects in its portfolio to help Angola in its economic and social development, with emphasis on the construction of the Cunene Valley, through the creation of a financing mechanism for development integrated economy of the region.

The two entities also converged on the need to create the Angola/Brazil Chamber of Commerce, so that through the involvement of the private sector on both sides there is the promotion of actions that facilitate dialogue with State institutions, with a view to attracting investments, as well as the establishment of mutually advantageous partnerships.

Angola exports to the Brazilian market products such as naphtha for the petrochemical industry, granites, minerals, wood, cotton, cement, cast iron, aluminum, ceramic products, while Brazil exports corn flour, meat, iron, footwear, clothing to Angola. , among other products.
