Africa-Press – Angola. The roads on the main streets of the outskirts of the city of Caála, Huambo province, have begun to benefit from earthworks, in an initiative by the Municipal Administration, with the aim of improving vehicle circulation.
It is a total of 10 kilometers of roads in the neighborhoods Antigos Combatentes, Cangola, Catelenga, CRC, Lenha and São Paulo.
In a press release sent, this Wednesday, the municipal administration of Caála indicates that the works will, once concluded, improve the movement of people and goods in these localities.
He refers that the initiative will gradually be extended to other peripheral neighborhoods of the city of Caála.
It should be noted that the city of Caála has part of the access roads in its interior reclassified, within the scope of the Integrated Plan of Intervention of Municipalities (PIIM), in addition to having laid, for the first time, asphalt in the communal centers of Calenga, Catata and Cuima.
In the commune of Catata, 1.4 kilometers were reached, Cuima with 2.5, Calenga with 3.0 and the commune of the municipality with 2.0 kilometers where the 8.3 already signaled were increased, making a total of 17.2 kilometers of roads in the entire territorial extension of this administrative division.
