Africa-Press – Angola. The municipal administrator of Icolo e Bengo, Nelson Funete, visited this Wednesday several companies based in his jurisdiction, in order to apply for job openings for local young people.
The action, framed within the scope of the fight against poverty, aimed to strengthen relations, among others, with the companies FERPLAS and COBEJE.
According to António Santos, manager of the company FERPLAS, which sells materials for agriculture, civil construction, real estate, IT, cars, among others, he took good note of the concern of the municipal administrator and will provide his support whenever possible.
After a visit and receiving explanations about the operation of the COBEJE factory, the administrator received guarantees that, within his social responsibilities, he will take into account the concerns raised.
At the end of the visit, the municipal manager stated that he will continue to seek, together with businessmen, solutions to the problem of employability of local young people.
Remember that a week ago, Nelson Funete visited other companies, with the aim of strengthening relations between both.
On the occasion, the official appealed to companies based in the municipality to take into account the need to create jobs for Angolans and, in particular, for young people from Icolo e Bengo.
The municipality of Icolo e Bengo has a vast business park, with several ceramics, cement, juice, soft drinks and water factories, among others.
