Africa-Press – Angola. More than 100 MPLA militants from the municipality of Quilenda, Cuanza Sul province, are participating since Friday, in a camp, with a view to strengthening relations between the new generation and the former leaders and cadres of the party.
Entitled “Generations Camp”, the initiative brings together militants, sympathizers and friends of the party from the communes, neighborhoods and villages of the municipality of Quilenda.
During three days, the participants will address issues related to the country’s political moment, the challenges and the history of the MPLA in Quilenda, as well as a training course.
The spokesperson for the organizing committee of the event, Cecília Kawengo, said that the event takes place under the motto “MPLA the strength of the people” and also aims at exchanging experiences, reflecting on the organization’s past and present. support, envision future actions and promote the sharing of knowledge.
He informed that the program also includes aid and control visits to the party’s action committees, cleaning campaigns, among other activities.
