Africa-Press – Angola. The provincial secretary of JMPLA in Cunene, Ireno Nambalo, called this Wednesday for respect for democratic values, to guarantee the stability and development of the country.
On the subject of maintaining the country’s socio-political stability, he highlighted everyone’s engagement to put an end to hostilities and disturbance of social harmony, awareness and effective purification of the whole spirit, towards the improvement of fraternal relations that should exist between the children of this country.
“All of us are called to make our contribution to the preservation of peace, unity and national reconciliation, as indispensable factors for the consolidation of social and economic stability, with a view to improving the quality of life of the populations”, he emphasized.
He recalled the importance of maintaining the country’s political and social stability, which involves a feeling of commitment, union and Angolan identity, regardless of party political distinction.
He underlined that peace is an indelible milestone in the lives of Angolans and its advent has allowed the achievement of many other conquests across all domains.
In this regard, he said that it is essential that youth actively engage in the preservation and consolidation of peace, in addition to contributing to justice and national reconciliation, refraining from acts of violence and riots.
“Young people are called to be promoters and ambassadors of peace and national security, to make Angola an inclusive and developed democratic country”, he reasoned.
The youth leader condemned the use of social networks that became the scene of attacks, verbal and moral offenses against the figure of the President of the Republic and stimulus of violence against public goods.
Ireno Namabalo said that despite the socio-economic instability that the country is going through, due to the increase in the basic food basket, depreciation of the kwanzas and other ills that affect families, there is a need to maintain serenity and trust in related bodies.
The political leader also condemned the attitude of some economic operators, who, taking advantage of the partial removal of the fuel subsidy, raised the prices of basic basket products, a fact that has created some instability within families.
