Africa-Press – Angola. The MPLA’s second provincial secretary in Benguela, Rosalina Bernardo Kasisa, said in this city that her party remains committed to fulfilling its electoral promises, with emphasis on job creation.
The official was speaking at the second methodological meeting of this party in Benguela, referring that while opponents invest in manipulation, the MPLA works to provide a greater offer of public services, energy and water, education, health, housing and sanitation to Angolans.
In his view, the country’s current situation requires the party’s structures to have a greater capacity to interpret phenomena, to adapt and to adopt a proactive attitude towards resolving the people’s problems.
The politician expressed her conviction that the participants will leave this II methodological meeting more united and determined to carry out the political-party work in unconditional support to the Executive led by President João Lourenço.
“We must remain engaged in the consolidation of peace, national reconciliation and the democratic rule of law, as well as in strengthening our economy, betting on its diversification”, he said.
He referred that the success of the political action of the MPLA resides in the process of organization and functioning of its basic structures, complying with the orientations and directives of the local and central management bodies.
The official said that it was urgent to improve communication and information sharing between the various sectors of the party and not only, on the basis of frank dialogue, for the definition of more correct strategies.
Rosalina Kasisa reiterated the need to ensure the effective control of the real statistics of the militants and to reinforce the mechanisms of organization, monitoring and evaluation.
