Africa-Press – Angola. The technician from the Management Office of the National Space Program (GGPEN), Lumonansoni Eduardo André, recently concluded his doctorate in Physics, at the Technical Faculty of Physics, of the State University of Tvier, in Russia, with a score of 20 out of 20.
With the thesis entitled “Mathematical modeling of the orbital motion of a celestial body and properties of condensed matter close to supermassive gravitational objects”, the four-year doctoral program began on September 1, 2019 and ends on August 31, 2019. 2023.
“With a lot of dedication and dedication, always thinking about the desire to contribute to the evolution of my country in this sector, I managed to obtain, with excellence and distinction, the maximum score of 20 out of 20”, said Lumonansoni Eduardo André.
With the thesis defense, he also received the academic title of Investigator Professor. This is a Double Doctorate in Physics and Astronomy, specializing in orbital mechanics.
“Now, the objective is to return to the country and help the GGPEN in this area, in order to achieve the objectives established for the benefit of the National Space Program (PEN)”, he said.
Lumonansoni Eduardo André added that, since he was a child, he has cultivated a passion for space and the stars, believing that he can help build a better future for all Angolans and for the world.
“For this, I wanted to understand the heart of galaxies (black holes), how they form, how they work and what is their true role in the formation of galaxies and what direct impact they have on our lives. I have always believed that the current model that explains the matter contained in a galaxy (visible or observable matter), not taking much into account the matter and the dark energy surrounding the visible matter, leads us to make gross astrophysical errors, hence the need to correct or improve with a new vision and new methods of observation and analysis”, he said.
Lumonansoni Eduardo André is also preparing to defend his second PhD in Astronomy.
Currently, as part of the training program for staff of the National Space Programme, under the leadership of the Ministry of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication (MINTTICS), the GGPEN has 69 specialists, six of whom hold a doctorate degree.
