Africa-Press – Angola. The first provincial secretary of the MPLA in Lunda Sul, Daniel Neto, asked Friday, the party’s cadres and leaders in the region to be more creative in the way of doing politics, guided by innovation in the forms of mobilization.

The official made this appeal at the opening of the Second Provincial Methodological Meeting on MPLA Work Organization, a meeting that aims to train responsible cadres that make up the party’s organs and bodies.

According to Daniel Neto, the topics scheduled at the meeting should deserve a rigorous and methodical treatment by those present, as they constitute the basis for the construction and affirmation of the party, in the current political moment.

Daniel Neto said that the current challenges invite us to redouble vigilance, providing unconditional support to the Executive, denouncing those who finance disorder, instability and attack national sovereignty, the Constitution and the laws in force in the country.

He recalled that politics must be seen in a more serious and responsible way, emphasizing rigor and proactivity, being increasingly inserted in society, working with the population and organized civil society, to attract more militants to the ranks of the MPLA.

In view of this, he said it was necessary to mobilize, clarify objectives and guide militants and others, for their active participation in resolving the most burning problems facing society.

As for the Angolan Women’s Organization (OMA), Daniel Neto reiterated the need for greater engagement in activities that generate income and combat poverty within families.

The director considered it essential that OMA lead the work of mobilizing women in promoting self-employment with small businesses, access to technical and professional training and communication and information technologies.

He said that the JMPLA, the youth arm of the MPLA, has challenges that involve assuming a greater role, deepening its ability to approach and influence the youth.

He recognized that the bases constitute the centers of instruction and political-party preparation, creating skills in the work of mobilization, propaganda and political counter-propaganda, for the great events and mass demonstrations.

He stressed that the training of cadres is a permanent task of the party, without trained technicians and in sufficient numbers, it will not be possible to correspond with the expectations of the challenges of the future and the present.

During two days, the participants will address themes related to organization, mobilization and insertion in society, analyzes of the current model of organization and functioning of MPLA structures, cadre policy, former combatants and veterans of the country, information and propaganda, among others.
