Africa-Press – Angola. One hundred and 25 agents of the National Police in Cuanza Norte finished, Friday, in Ndalatando, a training seminar on command and operational support, aimed at improving performance in fulfilling missions.
The training action lasted nine days and aimed to provide participants with technical, tactical and professional knowledge, with the aim of standardizing procedures.
During the seminar, topics such as “planning procedures”, “planning and order of operations”, “policing in meetings and demonstrations” and “transport of detainees or suspects in police vehicles” were discussed.
“Securing major events” and “proximity policing” were also discussed.
At the end of the event, the second provincial commander of the National Police in Cuanza Norte, sub-commissioner Conceição Francisco António, stressed that the tools seized during the training will help to combat actions that subvert public order.
He appealed to trainees to discipline and comply with legislation and other regulations in force in the National Police.
The event was attended by unit commanders, municipal and deputy commanders, squadron commanders, heads of operations and heads of police posts and the Provincial Department for the Investigation of Criminal Illicits.
