Africa-Press – Angola. Of the total of 2,408 credentials issued for the Official Electoral Registry, the Bloco Democrático (eight) and the APN (55) parties appear in the last places on the list of inspectors authorized to work at the Single Public Service Desks (BUAP) to which the Jornal de Angola had access, in the report referring to February.

At the clarification meeting on the process held by the national director of the Official Electoral Registry of the Ministry of Territory Administration, Fernando Paixão Manuel, last week, an appeal was made to the need for political parties and coalitions to accompany this stage considered crucial for the effective realization of the next August elections.

According to the document, the Democratic Bloc has only eight accredited inspectors throughout the national territory and the APN follows with 55, in a list in which the FNLA and the CASA-CE coalition appear with 123 and 205 in the immediate positions.

The map shows the MPLA (840 accredited inspectors), UNITA (799) and PRS (378) on the podium. In practice, the National Patriotic Alliance (APN) presented 61 candidates of which 55 were approved and six rejected, while the BD requested eight and all passed without reservation. The National Front for the Liberation of Angola (FNLA) presented 141 candidates, 123 approved and four suspended, while the Broad Coalition for the Salvation of Angola (CASA-CE) appears with 243 and 205 received the green light, one suspended, two rejected and 35 in the accreditation process.

The Social Renewal Party (PRS) presented 415 candidates, of which 378 were approved, without reservations, seven suspended, four rejected and 26 in the process of being processed.

The MPLA appears with 844, no suspension, no rejected and four awaiting the processing of credentials. UNITA presented 946 candidates and of these 799 accredited, four suspended, 45 rejected and 98 in the processing phase.

The report also points out that the suspensions are due to the absence of identification documents and photographs of the candidates, while the rejection of the processes has to do with the fact that they are minors and the indication of more than two inspectors, as the Law provides for only one inspector from each political party at each Public Service Desk (BUAP).

The in-person registration is subject to the supervision of the National Electoral Commission and the supervision of political parties and coalitions of parties, under the terms of the law, so the Ministry of Territory Administration must create the conditions for the accreditation of those interested in the inspection, improving the flowchart. that allows executing the accreditation process quickly and in a deconcentrated manner. Accreditation is done at the rate of one inspector per political party or coalition of political parties for each of the BUAPs.

According to the authorities, the next steps are reserved for the intensification of the marketing and communication campaign, the launch of the highlighted posts, the carrying out of special actions to update data to the specific target audience, as well as in the military, paramilitary, in addition to special actions in areas of difficult access, using special means for this purpose, among others.
