Africa-Press – Angola. Ra An exhibition of sculptures by Angolan artist Fineza Teta about Angolan women has been running since July 15 in Beijing, China.
The event portrays the resilience of Angolan women in their daily lives, caring for their children while also seeking sustenance and protection.
In an interview, Fineza Teta highlighted that the exhibition features the participation of Chinese sculptor Li Fujun, as part of a partnership signed in 2024 to promote cultural exchange.
“I was responsible for creating the piece, and he was responsible for sculpting it. This partnership will strengthen cultural relations between the two people”, explained the artist, who did not specify the duration of the exhibition.
Li Fujun is an award-winning Chinese professor and teacher. Fineza Tete was born in Luanda on December 26, 1977. She was the first woman to receive the Ensa-Arte 2014 grand prize for painting.
