Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Angolan Women’s League in Bengo (LIMA), Ana Paula Afonso, reiterated, in Caxito, the commitment of her organization to continue to work on valuing and empowering women, so that they have an active voice in all sectors of society.

The official who made this statement when assessing the days of LIMA Day, celebrated on June 18, stressed that the women’s organization is committed to the fight for the rights and well-being of Angolan women and maintains its commitment to democratic values ​​and with the promotion of gender.

“Women are pillars of society. If it does not have a focus on society, it can be lost, so we work on academic and professional training and on raising awareness so that it occupies an increasingly prominent place in society in Bengo”, she stressed.

The Angolan Women’s League in Bengo celebrated the 51st anniversary of its foundation (June 18th) with philanthropic, political, social and cultural actions in the six municipalities of the province.
