Africa-Press – Angola. Pensioner customers of the Banco de Poupança e Crédito (BPC), in the province of Cunene, will have, as of this Thursday, better service conditions after the inauguration of the service “My Service Desk in Naipalala”, city of Ondjiva .
Inaugurated by the provincial governor of Cunene, Gerdina Didalelwa, the “Meu Balcão” service is an exclusive space in the commercial network for pensioner customers, designed to raise levels of satisfaction based on convenience, personalized service and reduced length of stay in agency.
On the occasion, the Executive Director of BPC, Luís Duarte, said that the branch is a special concept that arises from the need to guarantee better accommodation and humanized service for pensioner customers.
Luís Duarte said that with the inauguration of the development, customers will have at their disposal account movement services such as withdrawals, deposits, transfers and also the opportunity to apply for credits, ATM debit cards, bank statements, among other products and services.
As active clients, he said that pensioners carried out their activities with professional pride and deserve a dignified and comfortable space so that they can feel better welcomed.
He stressed that the action is part of the implementation of policies and projects aimed at making the bank increasingly efficient and meeting the needs of customers.
In turn, the governor of Cunene province, Gerdina Didalelwa, highlighted the importance of the counter that will ease the suffering of pensioners, who faced long queues at BPC branches for transactions.
Pensioners hope for better service
However, the beneficiaries indicated better service with the installation of the “Meu Balcão” network in the region, which will quickly increase service levels.
Former combatant Adriano Lomboleni, retired Costa Cambuandy and Vitória Mbimbi expressed their satisfaction with the installation of a counter for the elderly.
They said that the counter will allow a quick service, whose space has dignified conditions to keep the elderly comfortable.
The Social Security Service in Cunene controls over 1,990 retirement and survival pensioners.
With the opening of Meu Balcão at the Naipalala post, BPC now has 14 service points for pensioners in the country.
