Africa-Press – Angola. The first secretary of the MPLA in Bié, Pereira Alfredo, highlighted, this Thursday, the importance of the union of the militants for the continuous support of the government’s actions aimed at improving the socio-economic conditions of the population.

According to the party member, who was speaking at the IV Ordinary session of the MPLA Provincial Committee in Bié, the union of all contributes to increasing the party’s confidence, to better guide and support the government in actions to combat poverty, of the Integrated Intervention Plan in the Municipalities (PIIM) and others that, directly or indirectly, have been able to solve the socio-economic problems of the population.

“There are no challenges that are impossible to be overcome, the important thing is that there is a joint effort between the members around the same cause”, stressed the politician in the presence of the coordinator of the Follow-up Group of the Secretariat of the Political Bureau for the province of Bié, Maria Idalina Brave.

Pereira Alfredo appealed to the JMPLA, the youth arm of the MPLA, to publicize, more and more, on social networks, the actions of the local and Central Government in favor of socio-economic development.

The meeting analyzed, among others, matters such as filling vacancies in the party’s Provincial Committee, the report of the Executive Committee, between November 2022 and April of the current year, as well as the respective degree of length.
