Africa-Press – Angola. The second provincial secretary of the MPLA in Cuanza Sul, Wenga Franco, this Friday, in Sumbe, encouraged the Angolan Women’s Organization (OMA) to increasingly contribute to the promotion of female entrepreneurship.
Speaking at the opening of the fourth ordinary session of the Provincial Committee of the OMA, the politician defended an increasingly sharp action by the female organization of the MPLA in society, through initiatives linked to female entrepreneurship, the fight against illiteracy and domestic violence, with a view to increasing insertion of this fringe in society.
“Cuanza Sul needs an increasingly strong OMA that continues to influence policies that aim to protect and promote the noblest interests of women and girls, in favor of an increasingly egalitarian society”, he stressed.
On the occasion, the person in charge recognized that women continue to have an increasing growth in society, therefore, he considers it imperative to define better strategies for the preparation of young women, not only from a professional point of view, but also in family formation , for the harmonious development of society.
During the meeting, the participants will discuss and approve the balance reports of the activities carried out between January and June this year, the financial execution of the provincial executive secretariat, the organisation’s code of conduct, ethics and deontology, among other topics.
