Africa-Press – Angola. The acting interior delegate in Lunda Sul, Manuel Queta, defended this Friday, in Saurimo, the need to publicize more the services and benefits of the Social Protection Fund of the Ministry of the Interior in the province, aiming at greater accession.
Manuel Queta was speaking as part of the celebrations for the 15th anniversary of Caixa Social do Minint, which took place on 14 July.
According to the person in charge, dissemination would involve, among other things, holding lectures with widows and orphans in order to clarify them about the importance of the institution and the need to legalize their status as pensioners.
Caixa Social controls 334 pensioners in Lunda Sul, of which 178 are retired and 156 are survivors.
During this year, the institution issued 631 identification cards, 50 retirement cards and received 51 survival processes, of which 23 have already been included in the payroll, according to the local director, João Alfredo.
Created on 14 July 2008, the Social Protection Fund aims to guarantee social security for employees of the Ministry of the Interior.
The event took place under the motto “With a focus on the sustainability of the social protection system, let us celebrate the 15th anniversary”.
