More than three thousand candidates admitted to the national bar exam

Africa-Press – Angola. More than 3,000 candidates were admitted to the national exam for access to law recently held across the country, revealed in Caxito, northern Bengo province, the chairman of the Angolan Bar Association, Luís Paulo Monteiro.

The exam is a condition for exercising the profession in Angola and follows the approval, in March 2019, of a regulation on the matter, he said.

By virtue of the regulation, he clarified, the exam is convened once in each calendar year, by the chairman, and is carried out simultaneously throughout the national territory.

The admitted candidates will be part of the Angolan Bar Association in the category of trainee lawyers.

The national exam for access to law is scientific and coordinated by the Study and Training Center of the Angolan Bar Association.

It is held in most countries of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) and the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP).
