Africa-Press – Angola. The first secretary of the MPLA in Cunene, Gerdina Didalelwa, Monday, in Ondjiva, asked the cadres for more competence and high patriotic awareness, based on ideology and democratic values.
Speaking at the II provincial methodological meeting on the Party’s Work Organization, he said that cadres should be the most aware and interpreters of the political line and defenders of the party’s program and statutes.
“We want political convictions to be aligned with principles and values, which is why this important meeting is being held, which is an action of political and ideological training,” he said.
He explained that the aim is an open debate of ideas, collection of suggestions and proposals for methodological guidelines instruments, which may contribute to the improvement of the party’s work.
He made it known that they continue to raise the levels of organization and work at the grassroots level, in order to adapt the intervention of the MPLA’s human capital to the challenges facing the implementation of its programme.
Gerdina Didalelwa said that, in the context of political competition, it is necessary to strengthen institutional capacity, by increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the country’s political and governmental action.
The meeting, lasting two days, is addressing the organization and insertion in society, mobilization, social organizations and civil society, information and propaganda, staff policy, economic policy, social policy, among others.
