Africa-Press – Angola. More than 40 companies were prevented from participating in the 38th edition of the Luanda International Fair (FILDA), due to lack of space, revealed yesterday the administrator for the commercial area of ​​Grupo Arena, Manuel Novais.

In the Special Economic Zone (ZEE), where the event is taking place, the interlocutor said that the present edition broke the record, in terms of exhibitors, by bringing together more than 1,300 exhibitors.

Thus, according to the manager, the perspective is, in the next editions, to expand the exhibition space of the largest business exchange in the country, to increase the number of participants.

Manuel Novais praised the presence of the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, at the event, accompanied by his assistants, who toured and interacted with businessmen from the various sectors.

The 38th edition of the Luanda International Fair will take place from the 28th to the 22nd of June, in the Special Economic Zone (ZEE), under the motto “Digital economy, the new world frontier”.

The event, managed by Grupo Arena, features the debut of the business area of ​​the Embassy of the United States of America and the return of Brazil, with the participation of the Association of Brazilian Businessmen and the country’s Diplomatic Mission in Angola.

Italy, Indonesia, Portugal, Turkey, Germany, Japan make up the range of countries that are exhibiting at FILDA 2023, in addition to the local business community.
