Africa-Press – Angola. The Jefo Sport da Mabor team won (Sunday), in Luanda, the first edition of the Top Seven Boxing Tournament, which was disputed at Arena da Refriango, in Viana, with 37 points.
Of national character, the event, which marks the resumption of activities of the Angolan Boxing Federation (FABOXE), now led by Simão Muanda, had the participation of 48 teams from the provinces of Luanda, Benguela, Moxico, Malanje and Uige.
In second place was Lá Finca, with 25 points, followed by Leão do Palanca, with 14.
In individual, in the over 92 kg category, it was won by João Domdelai, from Estrela do Leste in the province of Moxico. Carlos Luyanda, from Jefo Sport, in the 80 Kg, Rodrigues Paulo, from Escola Lá Finca.
In the 71 kg, won the gold, Gedeon Antônio (Jefo Sport), 63.5 kg, the gold went to Lucky Congo (Lá Finca), the 57 kg, won Faustino Mananga (Electro do Lobito) and 51 kg went to NZuzi Mbake (Lion of Palanca).
Following the electoral process of the governing bodies of FABOXE, in 2020, considered irregular, the institution was left without direction and inactive.
