Africa-Press – Angola. Ten citizens of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), who entered the country illegally, were detained, in the last seven days, by the Border Guard Police in the municipality of Maquela do Zombo, in the province of Uíge.

These are citizens aged between 18 and 48.

This Saturday, the spokesperson for the Provincial Command of the National Police in Uíge, chief superintendent Freitas Zama, said that the citizens were detained at the Kimbata border post (Maquela do Zombo).

Due to what happened, the immigrants were sent to the local Migration and Foreigners Service (SME) for legal procedures.
