Africa-Press – Angola. Nova Cimangola, a company that currently has 1,170 direct employees, has hired more than 500 new professionals in different areas of the industrial unit in the last two years. Of Cimangola’s total employees, 95% are Angolans, occupying various roles, including decision-making positions.
The information was provided by the company’s management during industry week, an event that took place from the 22nd to the 26th in Luanda.
With two factories operating at full capacity, one in Cacuaco and the other in Sequele, supported by warehouses and logistics centers spread from the North to the South of the country, the company manufactures cement, limestone, fly ash, mortar and clinker, products sold in bulk, in big bags or bags.
Nova Cimangola also sells its production both in the internal market of Angola and in external markets, such as Ghana, Cameroon, Togo, Gabon, Benin, Ivory Coast and Brazil.
A note from Nova Cimangola indicates that the industrial unit is now preparing to produce green cement and for the thermal replacement of fuels derived from waste.
“Green Cement is one of the ongoing projects, and in which innovation meets the intentions of the Government of Angola, it is called LC3 and aims to produce environmentally friendly cement or green cement, which incorporates a greater quantity of calcined clay, obliges to lower energy and water consumption, and contributes to the longer conservation of national quarries”, concludes the note.
