Africa-Press – Angola. Two hundred 44 million dollars (one dollar is equivalent to kz 828,137) were used in commercial exchanges between Angola and Turkey in 2023, especially in the agriculture and industry sectors, said the president of the Angola/Turkey Chamber of Commerce, Sérgio Conceição.

Sérgio Conceição indicated that, within the framework of cooperation, 500 national jobs and 115 for expatriates were created over the past year.

He made it known that, in the near future, the chamber is working to reach around 500 million dollars in diversified commercial exchanges, with emphasis on the sectors of agriculture, textile industry, mining, education and civil construction.

He said he felt motivated by this increase in employability in the country, as it is a number that is rising day after day.

For you, this year will be increasingly attractive and with more investors for Angola, taking into account the diverse potential that the country has.

Sérgio Conceição understands that the reduction in imports could also balance the balance of payments, thus the country will be less dependent on oil, despite being a process that requires time.

Also, regarding this year, the Angola/Turkey Chamber will hold a forum so that Turkish businesspeople can better understand the great business opportunities that Angola has.

The Angola/Türkiye Chamber of Commerce currently controls 150 members.
