Africa-Press – Angola. The first provincial secretary of the MPLA in Cuanza-Sul, Job Capapinha, reaffirmed on Tuesday, in the city of Sumbe, the party’s commitment to improving the living conditions of the population.
Job Capapinha, who was speaking at the presentation of New Year’s greetings, called for strengthening the work of mobilizing new activists, with a view to making the party stronger and more dynamic.
“Party cadres and leaders must know how to listen, in order to solve the population’s problems. It is necessary to increase participation in the organization’s acts, to strengthen the base of MPLA activists, supporters and friends”, he expressed.
For his part, the party’s second provincial secretary, Wenga Franco, said that 2024 will be a year of a lot of organizational work, taking into account the holding of review assemblies and renewal of mandates at the level of basic structures, therefore urging militants to adopt an exemplary stance in carrying out party tasks and support the Executive’s actions in favor of the country’s development.
“We envisage for 2024 a broad movement to revitalize and reorganize the internal life of the party, within the framework of the 2027 general elections. Therefore, with a spirit of mission, camaraderie, unity and cohesion, we must be ready for the great political challenges that lie ahead ”, he added.
