During the meeting, held at the Angolan Diplomatic Mission in this city, diplomats exchanged views on ways to intensify and expand the areas of bilateral cooperation, according to a note from the Angolan Embassy in Ethiopia.
The Angolan diplomat praised Japan’s contribution to Angola’s socio-economic development and informed his interlocutor that the country will once again have a seat on the African Union’s Peace and Security Council, starting in February this year.
For his part, Nakagawa Tsutomu provided information about the next edition of the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD), to be held in August 2025, in Yokohama, and in relation to the projects that the International Cooperation Agency of the Japan (JICA) develops on the African continent.
