Africa-Press – Angola. Grupo Carrinho’s strategic plan and the expansion of its industrial capacity to a series of production lines were presented this Thursday, in Luanda, to the American Secretary of State, Antony Blinken.
According to a press release from Grupo Carrinho, the company’s projects were made available to the American Secretary of State who met, at Africell’s headquarters, with representatives of national and American companies operating in the country.
At the meeting, Grupo Carrinho presented the consolidation and expansion of its manufacturing complexes, aiming for a capacity of more than 8.5 tons per year.
In the note, the group says that feeding a growing and increasingly urban population, of which around 10% is in a state of malnutrition, leads to an urgent need to increase productive income.
Among the companies with which Antony Blinken maintained contact, in addition to Africell and Grupo Carrinho, is Lobito Atlantic Railway, a key operator in the project to explore the Lobito corridor.
The Lobito corridor is a vital project for the development of infrastructure and logistics in the southern region and the world, providing an efficient means of transporting goods and resources.
The Carrinho Group operates in several sectors in Angola, having the largest industrial park in the country, in addition to having agricultural development and social responsibility programs.
